Our course on Sustainability in the Food Industry has been developed to help food manufacturers to understand the meaning of sustainability within a food context to be able to work towards appropriate goals.

Aimed at supervisors and managers in the food industry, particularly those involved in decision making, Corporate Social Responsibility or technical functions.
It is also ideal for those wishing to expand on their existing knowledge and understanding of sustainability, legislation and governmental targets.
No formal qualifications are required, but you will benefit most from this course if you are in a position of responsibility within the food industry.

Delegates will understand the term ‘sustainability’ as it relates to the food industry and the requirements for a holistic approach to it. They will also be aware of the UK’s sustainability goals and relevant legislation and targets for reducing the impact of climate change and improving sustainability. By the close of the course delegates will know how to develop a plan to contribute towards sustainability goals within their own businesses.
There is a short multiple-choice test at the end of the day. Successful candidates will achieve the FDQ Sustainability in the Food Industry Certificate.
