HACCP is a food safety management system. It stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points.
All medium and large food manufacturers and caterers are expected to have a HACCP plan to ensure that the food they produce is safe. It became law in 2006 that all food providers should have a HACCP-based food safety system in place.
Level 2 HACCP covers all the basics of HACCP and is intended as an introduction to HACCP for food handlers and operatives. No previous experience is required.
Level 3 HACCP is aimed at supervisors and HACCP team leaders. Level 2 HACCP or a working knowledge of HACCP is recommended.
Level 4 HACCP – This is an advanced 4-day course for Technical Managers and HACCP Team Leaders. Gaining a Level 3 HACCP qualification is highly recommended prior to booking this training.
