This popular course is ideal for those wanting to become a food safety trainer but is just as good for those aiming to train others in Health and Safety or any other subject.<\/p>\n<p>Our trainers have again been travelling far and wide covering most areas of England and Scotland. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/blog\/meat-expert-paul-bache-mbe-comments-on-hygiene-issues-at-jamie-oliver-butchery-jamieoliver\/\">Paul Bache ran a couple more Meat Managers Hygiene and HACCP courses<\/a> for the SFMTA in Dunfermline and Renfrewshire and we delivered a range of HACCP, Food Safety and Auditing courses for Young&#8217;s Seafood in Annan and Livingston.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/auditing\/auditing-skills-course.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Auditing Skills<\/a>, HACCP Awareness and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/haccp\/haccp-training-courses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HACCP Fundamentals<\/a> seem to be the most popular courses at the moment, and we have provided them for a wide range of customers involved in milk and cheese production, packaging, meat products and ingredients as well as a Yorkshire-based chain of bars and restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>Bookings are already being taken for 2014 so to secure your preferred dates for <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link \" title=\"in-house training\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/inhouse-training.html\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">in-house training<\/a> for next year contact us asap<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong> &#8211; don&#8217;t leave it too late!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ethical Audits<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget, if you are a medium risk supplier, the major retailers will expect you to have an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/blog\/faqs-about-ethical-audits-during-covid-19\/\">ethical audit<\/a> every two years.\u00a0<strong>We are already taking bookings well into 2014.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Please contact us for a quote if you are required to have an audit during 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For anyone who would like to know about the\u00a0<strong>SMETA<\/strong>\u00a0Ethical Audit process we are running a 1-day\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/auditing\/ethical-trading-workshop.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ethical Trading Workshop<\/a>\u00a0on 24th March in Skipton. The majority of delegates passed on both courses with several on each achieving a Distinction!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auditing Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We ran our first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/auditing\/auditing-skills-course.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Auditing Skills<\/a> Certificate course sine its approval by FDQ and are delighted that everyone passed the course and was awarded an FDQ certificate. We will be running our first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/auditing\/lead-auditor-course.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lead Auditor<\/a> course approved by FDQ in November.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutrition Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to announce that several candidates from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vwa.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diploma in Nutrition and Health<\/a> received their exam results in September. We had a number of passes with Sarah Odling (Odling Bros.) and Sharron Layzellsmith (Betty&#8217;s) achieving a Credit and Elaine Watson from Allerdale Borough Council achieving a fantastic Honours pass.
