Food industry training specialist, Verner Wheelock, will be exhibiting at Foodex for the very first time this year. The award-winning company, whose client list reads like a ‘who’s-who’ of food manufacturers and retailers has chosen the exhibition to unveil its new corporate identity.
Managing Director, Alison Wheelock, said “We’re really pleased with the new branding and felt that Foodex was the ideal opportunity to launch it. We have recently extended and completely refurbished our training facilities, which comfortably accommodate up to 14 delegates at a time and also incorporates the latest state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. A change of corporate identity to one which truly reflects what we stand for seemed the next obvious step.”
The new branding, which retains the familiar green and grey colours, gives a fresh, contemporary, feel which is in keeping with Verner Wheelock’s innovative and forward-looking approach to training. The petal device of the logo represents movement and learning in a dynamic, modern and flexible way, and forms a ‘VW’ shorthand.
The segmentation of the petals also denotes the eight areas of training and services provided by Verner Wheelock:
- HACCP
- Auditing
- Food Safety
- Health & Safety (*new)
- Nutrition
- Specialist
- Ethical Trading
- Consultancy
