We are pleased to announce we are adding three more courses to our portfolio of training aimed at the food and drink industry.
Health & Safety for the Food Supply Chain
While food and drink is naturally processed under strict controls, it does not automatically follow that the industry is ‘low risk’ in terms of the safety and health of employees. Food processing and supply, by nature, can be hazardous.
This is why we are introducing two in-house courses tailor-made to meet the very specific Health & Safety requirements of the Food Supply Chain industry.
The 1-day, FDQ Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Food Supply Chain, is designed to develop knowledge and awareness and recognise health and safety achievement of learners who are working in – or preparing to work in – a food manufacturing or in a food supply chain operative role.
The FDQ Level 3 Award in Health & Safety in the Food Supply Chain is a 3-day course geared towards those with technical responsibilities in the workplace, such as team leaders and supervisors.
The course aims to use practical industry examples to explain the process of Root Cause Analysis and the tools that can be used to identify the root cause of issues, to enable preventative measures to be put in place to prevent recurrences, as is required by the BRC Standard.
It is ideal for Production, Quality and Technical Managers, or those dealing with systems management in the workplace. We have already run a number of theses courses in-house for clients but the first Open course taking place at our training centre in Skipton is scheduled for 17th November. Bookings are now being taken and the course fee is £300 + VAT per person.
