January Training Courses
Open Courses
We were busy with lots of HACCP and Auditing training during January and the Christmas festivities were soon forgotten!
Delegates from the FDQ Auditing Skills Certificate course (29 – 30 Jan 2014) look very happy, despite a last minute change of venue on Day 1 due to a power cut at the Broughton Hall Estate and surrounding areas. The delegates and trainer Eleanor Nicholls were swiftly redirected to the nearby Coniston Hotel who stepped in to provide a lovely conference room with a tasty lunch and lots of biscuits to keep everyone going. Day 2 saw a return to normality as power was restored. Many, many thanks to the conference team at The Coniston – we owe you a favour!
In-house
January is always a popular month for in-house training and this year was no exception. Local courses included Level 3 HACCP at Morrisons in Bradford, a last minute Level 2 Food safety course for Hebden Bridge Town Hall, and GMP, HACCP and Allergens training for Confection by Design in Harrogate. Further afield, we provided our FDQ Lead Auditor course for Arla in Buckinghmashire, and the FDQ Auditing Skills Certificate course for Pinneys of Scotland and AarhusKarlshamn in Hull. Various other food safety and HACCP courses took place around the UK for a range of clients.

Well done to those delegates from Princes Ltd who passed their Level 4 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing following last year’s course, and also to those who completed and passed the HABC level 4 HACCP exam – an alternative to the RSPH exam.
We had some great results from Level 3 HACCP courses in December and January with 100% pass rate for Cott Beverages and Morrisons, with several candidates achieving Distinctions!
