Yorkshire Post and DeliciouslYorkshire – Best Fresh Meat Award Sponsors

We are very proud to be the sponsors of the Best Fresh Meat category in this year’s Yorkshire Post & DeliciouslYorkshire Taste Awards in association with ASDA. Judging took place towards the end of August, and we are eagerly awaiting the results from this brilliant showcase of the very best of Yorkshire’s food producers and innovators.

There are 20 categories in total, all judged by a panel of industry experts including chefs, retail industry experts, food writers and BBC Radio personality Nigel Barden.

Yorkshire has a diverse, delicious and varied food and drink scene which deserves to be celebrated and The Taste Awards aim to do just that. Championing the local farmers, producers and personalities who keep us so well fed!

Charity Dog Show

Charity Dog Show WinnersVerner Wheelock were pleased to support the first annual Charity Dog Show for the Otley District Riding for the Disabled group. The show was a great success (despite heavy rain), and helped raise over £500 for the organisation that helps people with physical and/or learning difficulties to have fun and exercise on horseback.

Many thanks to Steph Lawton and Jan Wheelock and everyone else who helped organise this fantastic event
