Meet our new Administration Controller, Mitch Morrison, who joined us in December. Originally from Ross-shire in Scotland (he’s retained his accent), he now lives in Harrogate with his wife, Joy, and his two small sons Harry and Fraser.
Mitch served in the Royal Navy for several years, so he’s wasted no time in making sure our systems are ‘ship-shape’. Prior to coming to Verner Wheelock, he worked as a Deputy Business Manager for the Probation Service, covering the Harrogate, Skipton and Northallerton areas.
At Verner Wheelock, Mitch’s main area of responsibility is to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the office, by co-ordinating and managing team activities. He’s also the go-to guy for Health & Safety and workload planning.
Mitch says the best thing about his new job is “the people and the location.” We couldn’t agree more, but we thought we’d catch him, during his busy day to ask him a few quick questions about himself.

What do you do in your spare time? With two young boys, spare time is a distant memory!
