rsphCongratulations to our top-students, Peter Smith, Lianne Davis and Helen Kearney who each achieved the highest standard possible in their respective RSPH qualifications for 2013.

It has just been announced that Peter Smith and Lianne Davis shared top place in the RSPH L4 Award in Food Safety in Manufacturing, while Helen Kearney topped the RSPH L4 Award in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing.

The high-achieving trio will receive their special awards at the RSPH’s prestigious Annual Conference and Awards event in London later this year.

Well done, you three!

Birthday Bumps

ClaireMay has indeed been a busy time for celebrations at Verner Wheelock. Our very own high-achievers, Claire Lennon, Business Development Executive, and Training Support Executive, Carole Dickason added an extra candle to their cakes last month – hip, hip hooray!

Snap Happy

Photo sessions took place for our newly rebranded brochure and website during May. Scenes of our location and offices at Broughton Hall, along with mug shots of the Verner Wheelock team will be appearing on this site soon… you have been warned!

FDQ News

PrintWe are pleased to announce that our Supplier Auditing course has now been approved by FDQ and so will lead to the FDQ Supplier Auditing Certificate. The first of these courses will run on 20th June and there are currently a couple of places available. We now have a full suite of Auditing courses approved by FDQ which also includes our Auditing Skills and Lead Auditor courses.

We have also been approved to run the FDQ Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Health & Safety in the Food Supply Chain. This course will initially be offered in-house for groups of 5 or more delegates and we will look to offer it as an open course in Skipton in line with demand.

June & July Training Courses

2 – 6 RSPH Level 4 Award in Food Safety 
16 RSPH Foundation Certificate in HACCP (Level 2)
16 – 17 RSPH Level 3 Award in HACCP
18 – 19 FDQ Auditing Skills **Ring for availability**
20 FDQ Supplier Auditing

14 – 17 RSPH Level 4 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing
21 – 22 RSPH Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing
23 HACCP Refresher

All courses take place in Skipton, unless otherwise stated
