Meet Rachael our new Training Support Administrator

Rachael B deskJust to confuse you, there are now two Rachel/Rachael’s at Verner Wheelock – Rachel Coote, who is our Marketing Manager, and Rachael Breckon (left), who joined us in December as our Training Support Administrator.

Rachael has plenty of experience in the training and education sector. Before accepting the position at Verner Wheelock she worked in Central Admissions at Craven College, where she was involved in processing applications and advising prospective students and parents on available funding.

Rachael is a local lass. She lives in Skipton , with her boyfriend, Jonathan, and is already very much part of the team. She has already taken our Level 3 HACCP course and achieved a Distinction!

What annoys you? Disorganisation and mess at home.

What makes you happy? Baking with Jonathan/ trying to get my veg garden growing!

Favourite place in the world? Australia – where my sister lives – Uluru was an amazing place to visit!

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? To teleport, I don’t like travelling.

What would be your ideal job? Owning a dog rescue centre.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only take 3 things with you, what would they be?

  1. My partner, Jonathan – he is good at camping!
  2. Pillow
  3. Toothbrush

What do you do in your spare time? Swimming 3-4 times per week and walking our family dog ‘Gem’.

Rachael has plenty of local knowledge, so if you ever want to know where to visit, or need directions home from a course, she’s the lady to ask. Just pop into the office and she’ll be happy to help.
