Course Description

This one-day session looks at the BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9 in relation to Issue 8.

It includes:

  • Reason for changes and GFSI requirements
  • Key points
  • Clause by clause update
  • Practical problem-solving workshops
  • Question and answer session

The changes will be discussed section by section with plenty of time for discussion and input from the group. This course will provide you with the practical information needed to incorporate the changes into your own systems. This course has been written by an experienced food safety consultant on behalf of Verner Wheelock, to help you prepare for your next audit.

Certification against the new Standard is effective in audits from 1st February 2023. Issue 9 was published in August 2022, and it is essential to revise your systems in preparation for your BRCGS audits. It is recommended that delegates obtain their own copy of the new Standard prior to attending the course.
