BRC Issue 5 - Be prepared for your next audit

Course Summary

A one-day course certificated by VWA.

The course will look at the changes made to Issue 5 of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (January 2008), in relation to Issue 4.  Certification against the new Standard comes into force from 1st July 2008, so if you have not already revised your systems in line with Issue 5, now is the time to do so. 

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements but this one day course is aimed at those in the food industry that need to meet the requirements of the latest BRC Standard for Food Safety (Issue 5).

This course will help you to prepare for your next BRC audit with confidence.  It will cover the following subjects.

Changes to the standard:

  • Senior Management commitment
  • HACCP definition
  • Allergens
  • Site security
  • Other important changes

The course will also cover:

  • Revision of product categories
  • Different types of audits
  • Grading systems and audit frequency
