
Verner Wheelock Associates (VWA) offers a range of in-house courses from basic to intermediate level in Nutrition & Health, HACCP, Food Safety, Auditing and Trainer Skills. The majority of our courses are certificated by the Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH) or the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), and all follow a consistent structure and format. Courses can also be tailored to meet the specific requirements of a certain team or group of employees.
Courses for all Levels
We are experienced in developing in-house courses for a range of customers in manufacturing, retail and catering. These can be run at our own training facilities in Yorkshire, or at a convenient venue to suit you. These tend to be best suited to Awareness, Foundation and Intermediate level courses (Level 1-3) for cooks, operatives, team leaders, supervisors and some managers. We are very flexible in the provision of these courses and are able fit in with the constraints of shift work and busy production lines in order to fulfil training objectives.
Saving You Money
These courses can prove to be very cost effective when training a large number of workers to be proficient in understanding Nutrition and Food Safety issues, or as refresher courses to supplement existing knowledge and update staff on the latest legislation and guidelines.
