Terms and Conditions

Open Courses (in Skipton)

Fees:

  • All fees are payable 14 days in advance of the open courses.
  • Certificates will only be issued once payment in full has been received.
  • VAT is payable on all fees.

Cancellations:

  • Once a booking has been confirmed, we do not accept cancellations and you are liable for payment.  If you cancel but have already paid, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we are happy to accept substitutions or transfers.

Substitutions:

  • Substitutions can be made at any stage at no cost

Transfers:

Transfers to the same course at a future date, subject to availability of places, will incur the following charges:

  • Between 10 and 20 working days before the course £50 + VAT
  • Less than 10 working days before the course £100 + VAT
  • Any hotel cancellation fees (if accommodation is included in the cost), plus any related administration charge

If that transfer is then cancelled or transferred again, the conditions above will be applied again.
All cancellations, substitutions or transfers requested verbally must be confirmed in writing (a fax or e-mail is acceptable). Changes requested will become effective on the date of receipt of written confirmation.

In-house Courses

Fees:

  • Fees for in-house courses are due immediately on completion of the course and are payable within 30 days of date of invoice.
  • Certificates will only be issued once payment in full has been received.
  • VAT is payable on all fees and expenses.

Cancellations and Postponements:

  • If a course is cancelled or postponed by the customer less than 20 working days before the agreed date, we reserve the right to invoice you for 50% of the full cost of the course.
  • If a course is postponed or cancelled by the customer less than 10 working days before the agreed date, we reserve the right to invoice you for 75% of the full cost of the course.
  • We also reserve the right to invoice you for any unrecoverable expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement.
  • Cancellations or postponements must be made in writing.

Ethical Audits

Fees:

  • Fees and expenses for ethical audits are due immediately on completion of the audit and are payable within 30 days of date of invoice.
  • Payment in full must be received before the audit is signed off on Sedex.
  • VAT is payable on all fees and expenses.

Cancellations and Postponements:

  • If an audit is cancelled or postponed by the customer less than 10 working days before the agreed date, we reserve the right to invoice you for 50% of the full cost of the audit.
  • If an audit is postponed or cancelled by the customer less than 5 working days before the agreed date, we reserve the right to invoice you for 75% of the full cost of the audit.
  • We also reserve the right to invoice you for any unrecoverable expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation or postponement.
  • Cancellations or postponements must be made in writing.
